Regardless of the industry you serve, ensuring your staff is safe on the job should be one of your top priorities. Proper training should be conducted on the following items...

safetyicon Potential hazards

SafetyFirst

safetyicon Preventative measures for common accidents

safetyicon What to do if an accident occurs

While many of your employees understand the process behind your business, educating and training them on preventative programs is necessary in keeping them safe. Being that some accidents happen regardless of training, educating your employees on how to handle common incidents can help ensure their well-being. With this, all incidents should be recorded as soon as possible. By doing so, this information can be referenced in the event of an OSHA or insurance inspection.

If you already have a training program set in place, you should evaluate it on a yearly basis; asking your employees if the working conditions are safe and if they’ve had proper training. From there, you can assess and make adjustments where necessary.
